Sail Suitely — a product of 3 Bears Studio LLC — is built to be private by default. There is no account, the app never asks for your name or email, and the only data that ever leaves your device is anonymous and aggregate. (The optional waitlist on this website is the one place we ask for an email address — see section 9.) This page explains exactly what that means.
The short version. No sign-up. Your saved cruises live on your iPhone. We collect anonymous usage statistics — which sailings and lines get viewed, saved, and tapped through to book — so we can understand what luxury travelers want. The app never collects your name, email, precise location, contacts, advertising ID, or payment details.
Sail Suitely collects a single category of data: anonymous, aggregate usage analytics. Each event contains:

Your saved sailings, favorites, comparisons, and app settings are stored locally on your iPhone and are never uploaded to us. You can clear all of this at any time from the app's Settings, and deleting the app removes it entirely.
We use the anonymous analytics described in Section 1 to understand which sailings, lines, and destinations luxury cruisers are most interested in, to improve the app, and to demonstrate the value of the referrals we send to cruise lines and travel partners. The data is sent to an analytics endpoint that we operate ourselves (hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure in the United States). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
When you tap "Book Now" or "View on {line}," you leave Sail Suitely and open the cruise line's own website. Anything you do there — including any personal or payment information you enter — is governed by that cruise line's privacy policy, not this one. We do not pass any personal information to them.
Sail Suitely participates in affiliate programs with some cruise lines and travel networks. When you book after tapping certain links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. To attribute a booking, the affiliate network may set a cookie on the cruise line's website. We receive commission information, not your personal booking details. Affiliate relationships never influence which sailings we show you or how we rank them.
Sail Suitely is intended for adults planning cruise travel and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Because our analytics events carry no identifier that we can tie back to you, we have no way to locate "your" data on request — but we also never hold anything that identifies you. You remain in control: clear all locally stored data from the app's Settings at any time, and uninstalling the app stops all further data collection.
If you enter your email address into the waitlist form on this website, we store that email address, which app’s page you submitted it from, and the date and time. That is the entire record — we do not store your name, your IP address, your browser, or the page you came from.
We use it for one purpose only: to email you when testing or public release opens. We do not send a newsletter, we do not market anything else to you with it, and we do not sell, rent, share, or disclose it to anyone outside the service providers who store it for us.
The waitlist is held on Cloudflare infrastructure operated for us. It is kept until you ask us to remove it, or until the app has launched and that announcement has been sent — whichever comes first.
To be removed at any time, email hello@3bears.studio from the address you signed up with. We will delete the record and confirm. You do not need to give a reason.
This concerns the website only. Nothing in the waitlist is connected to the app, to anything stored on your device, or to any account within the app.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above.
